Photo Series #3

Hey y'all!

Sorry it's been awhile...again...and that I'm a little late in getting out the photos this week. First week of school is done! It went pretty well, not gonna lie. However, I can feel the evil stress creeping nearer and nearer already. What a creeper. I hate you, Stress. I don't need you this year.

It'll all be good though, I'm sure. Not too much in the way of homework and studying yet (thank God! I'm so over that shit).

Anyway, less talk, more art!

So without further ado...I give you...the third Série de Photo:

#1

#2

#3

#4

#5

And there you have it.

These photos are actually a couple of years old now, and the model is my photographer friend who I interned with (she's way cool).

Hope you enjoy them! Let me know what you think. What's your favorite?

  1. 3 ! It feels as though some profound analogy is at play in this pic. The idea of looking back with such a content smile at what has been regardless of the fact she is on a merry go round and the past, will, in time, become the present again. I like it.

  2. I love #3 & 5. They're definitely my favorites. I like the little smile on her face in those ones. It reminds me of my childhood and all those good times at the amusement park. :)

I love the lighting, by the way. The look of an overcast day just makes me smile for some reason. By the way, LOVE the color of her dress! I don't even know if there's a name for that shade of blue, but there ought to be!

Good luck with the rest of the semester!

  3. My vote is for #5. She seems to be almost daring me to follow her onto the rides.

Dont stress lovely lady, just turn that energy into positive action. You will do fine. Hugs :)

  4. I agree with mynx. Number 5. Explain to me again: was no one at this carnival when you took these photos?

  5. i love #1 and #5. The first has a really cool perspective, her small and the carnival big. And in general, it's awesome that no one else was in the park.

  6. Love 3. It's almost philisophical.

  7. Dude. Outstanding, all of them, as a package and in the order in which you've chosen to present them. People in my familiar world like to spend their time creating things that are logical; people in your familiar world like to spend their time creating things that are beautiful... Both are so utterly important, yet not always regarded equally. Here you have created a sequence that doesn't care about intuition or analysis or any of this different world bullshit, because it is what it is, which is something profound, and that's impressive. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Awesome work!

  8. love the carousel shot the best... the gal balances the carousel out...she draws the viewer's eye right to her... love the way all the lines converge...

Please do comment. I mean, it's not there for decoration. And I do enjoy a little chit-chat ;-)
